Welcome to Kangema.

As indicated by the chairman, the constituency development fund has been a whole new experience in community development. To the extent that communities have always tried to better their lot, there is nothing new. What is of significance is that this time round, there were available resources, from the central Government, that could support their initiatives.

This website has been long in coming and is indeed not complete to our satisfaction. What it provides for however, is a forum for discussion that all the stakeholders can participate in.

There will be a lot of input that will be called for both from sector specific experts and from all of you who can lay claim to the future of Kangema constituency. What for instance is the future of healthcare in Kangema? What opportunities are there to improve our education performance. Are there possibilities of strategising education and health so that we come out of the beaten path and be leaders in new approaches?

These are not just questions but challenges that will have to be addressed sooner than later. What the constituency development fund has done is provided the fuel with which communities can challenge their lot and chart out their future.I look forward to the day we will shift from the construction of buildings and start to address the very core of the future we would like our children to have.
